EVENTS ON LIFE IMAGE!

Life Image is proud to sponsor many non-profit organizations.  We also apply our creative energy and services to help them maintain and grow important programs, convey their important message and recognize the work of every-day heroes... like YOU!
This year marks our eigth year involved in the Minnesota Red Ribbon Ride.  We were again proud to be sponsors of this event in July ... having produced award winning videos and capturing thousands of Life Images that demonstrate how important the work of beneficiaries are to the lives of people living with HIV/AIDS, families, friends and people around the world. More information at the Minnesota Red Ribbon Ride site.  The Red Ribbon Ride has been recognized as one of the Top 10 events in Minnesota for raising hundreds of thousands of dollars with almost all going directly to benefitting organizations.  Congratulations!
A new event for us to participate in last year... is actually the oldest event of it's kind.
The Minnesota AIDS Trek started in 1986 and has been going strong more than
23 years.  AIDS Trek is an all-volunteer event, ensuring the maximum amount of contributions go directly to beneficiaries.  We're proud to be associated with
AIDSTrek. Learn more by going to www.AIDS-Trek.org
The founding Breast Cancer Ride was held in Minnesota June of 2008 and Life Image as there as sponsor with more than 200 riders, crew and volunteers.  The event continues to grow.  See Team Photos and see Life Images from this event by clicking here.  Get more info from the Breast Cancer Ride site.   We're back again in this year and hope you'll join us!
A few years ago a group of committed individuals came together to recognize the impact of Multiple Myeloma on people throughout Minnesota - and do something about it.  The result is the Minnesota MMRF (Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation) Race for Research, an important fundraiser in the search for cures to this devastating disease.  Life Image has been there since the beginning and were there again this September in St. Paul.
Go to MMRF Race for Research St. Paul for more info and we'll see you there.
Another new event was "Dusk2Dawn", an walk held for the first time in September 2009.  We went to South Africa in 2003 and have been hosting the ArmInArmInAfrica (AiAiA) website ever since.  Our volunteer work for Open Arms of Minnesota and AiAiA both come together in this event -  raising funds for humanitarian and HIV/AIDS efforts in South Africa.  We've experienced first-hand the amazing work being done with grass-roots organizations and know this is an opportunity to have a global impact.  More info at the Dusk2Dawn site.

A new event for us to participate in this year is the Minnesota AIDS Walk with
the Minnesota AIDS Project.  2010 marks the 23rd Annual Minnesota AIDS Walk to raise funds and awareness in the ongoing struggle against HIV. On May 16, thousands of concerned Minnesotans will get together at Minnehaha Park in Minneapolis, and we'll be there.  Go to the AIDS Walk website for more details.
